Our Mission for the Company
U.S. Pole Co, Inc., now U.S. Outdoor Lighting, has been a leading manufacturer of architectural outdoor luminaires and decorative poles since it was founded by Joseph Straus in 1984.
For 40+ years, our mission has been to be the best outdoor lighting company for the professional market, embodied through domestic manufacturing, vertical integration, diversity of product, photometric performance and
sophisticated architectural styling.
The company was based in Sun Valley, CA, and as it grew it moved into its current modern facility in Palmdale, CA in 2002. Staying true to its name, it continues to manufacture Buy American Act and BABA compliant luminaires, poles and bases.
