Intro
U.S. Architectural Ltg. now proudly offers a line of Column Lights. Distinctively contemporary and modern, cylindrical light columns are your contemporary solution to washing away outdoor darkness while maximizing nighttime visibility and safety.
First Fruits
The first luminaire to be presented from U.S. Architectural’s line of Column Lighting is the AXIM family of products. The AXIM Series is a familiar form presented in a clean contemporary style. The AXIM Columns feature contemporary design to complement the architectural compositions of today.
Composed of 2 column lights, and performance, wayfinding perimeter bollard, this line of luminaires is available in multiple heights from 2 feet to 16 feet, for varying pedestrian scale needs.
Newest Addition
Introducing the AXIM Square, the latest addition to our acclaimed AXIM series of LED Column Lights. Building on the success of our previously released round version, the AXIM Square offers a sleek, modern design that seamlessly integrates into a variety of architectural styles.
The AXIM Series Square Column, AXMS7, is 7” squared and has standard heights from 8ft to 12ft. It’s companion bollard AXMSB comes in standard heights of 36”, 42”, and 48”.
Lens Options
To provide extra protection for the LEDs as well as diffusion to reduce glare.
NO LENS
Open Frame is standard for highest efficacy and U0 optics. Lens is impact resistant, UV stable acrylic.
CLEAR ACRYLIC LENS
Optional Clear Acrylic Lens (CA) provides high efficacy. Lens is impact resistant, UV stable acrylic.
WHITE ACRYLIC LENS
Optional White Acrylic Lens (WA) provides glare control and general diffused lighting. Lens is impact resistant, UV stable acrylic.
Superior Optical Performance
The AXIM Series is built around the superior performance of U.S. Architectural’s PLED optical system, which provides high efficacy and a variety of 18 distributions and shielding for flexibility. Built to IP66 standards to seal them against the outdoors, these PLED modules provide high throw optics for better coverage and spacing, shielding to prevent light spill, and diffused, low glare illumination with the Acrylic Lens option.
Scalability Redifined
The AXIM Series Round Columns come in two diameters; the Square Columns are 7” squared. Both versions offer multiple height ranges that are suitable for their setting.
Application wise, the AXIM Series can light everything from smaller parking lots and roadways to more human scale pedestrian applications such as parks, pathways, entries, plazas, and walkways.
