Snake Vibration Dampener

Snake Dampeners are long, flexible vibration control devices that slide inside the Pole like a snake. Its job is to reduce the natural frequency of the pole which helps to cut down on the “whipping” or aeolian vibration that can happen when steady, low velocity wind passes across tall, hollow Poles. Instead of the Pole swaying or vibrating too much (which over time can loosen bolts, crack welds, or fatigue the metal), the Snake Dampener shifts around inside the Pole, absorbing that energy and keeping the movement under control.
